About

This is truly an exciting time in the life of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. In 2011, this congregation accepted the invitation of God to begin a journey of revitalization and reinvigoration that continues to this day. By following the words of the old hymn “Take Time to be Holy” we have grown to appreciate that we are all disciples of Jesus, each possessing the ability to contribute something unique to this community we call “the church”.

Every single child of God is holy and each one of us shows that holiness in the gifts and talents that he/she brings to the table. Every person has a personal way of holiness that enlivens and enriches the larger community. At St. Paul’s, we endeavor to build up God’s Kingdom by discovering new ways to give expression to this variety of gifts.

As you peruse our web site, you will discover that we offer many venues for finding, exploring, nurturing and strengthening those gifts and talents. From worship to a small group experiences, from fellowship events to committee work, there is a place for you to find and build on God’s call to you.

We are a fellowship of diversity where each individual is offered the opportunity to investigate their own path to God at their own pace. At the same time, we make every effort to appreciate that each persons’ path to God is different from our own. What holds us together through the challenges of diversity is our common commitment to Jesus Christ.

We like to think of our church family as having one gift, in particular, to offer. That gift is a Big Lap. We offer you the Big Lap of God. If you’re looking for a space on which to crawl where you will receive a tight, warm hug instead of a cold shoulder; sound guidance and direction absent of the scolding and lecturing; genuine acceptance and affirmation minus the judgment, you will find it here at St. Paul’s.

We continue to build on something that Mother Teresa once said: “You can do something I cannot do. I can do something you cannot do. Together let us do something beautiful for God.”

There’s A Place For You Here! You Are Welcome !
