Monrovia - Second Baptist Church

925 South Shamrock Avenue

Second Baptist Church, exists as a local congregation to reach out to the world with the witness of the living Word of God’s love as revealed in His Son Jesus , the Christ, our crucified, bodily raised, ascended, exalted, and soon coming King. We live to serve our community in His same love and power, knowing He ever “lives and reigns in the hearts of His own” Spirit-Baptized ones.

We are united in our effort to teach, preach, and witness the Word of God as taught in biblical theology, thus spreading the Good News in the power of the Holy Spirit, Affirming our Past, Shaping our Present, Anticipating our Future. We are committed to equipping the saints under the bishopric of Shepherd Wm. LaRue Dillard, so that we will be nourished and empowered to fulfill our God-ordained, created purposes as {ministering saints} of the body of Christ.

We seek to lead the saints of this parish to care for one another, and to sensitively reach out to our community and world with the life-changing Word of God through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
