Also in place is the capability to design and sew the gorgeous costumes used by the dancers. The studio facility can store sets for up to 15 different shows.

A track of excellence in shows: Over the years, the Sierra Vista Ballet has presented an array of exquisite ballets that are presented in a new state-of-the-art 1200 seat theater, the Buena Performing Arts Center. The theater features a large stage, sophisticated lighting system, and an outstanding sound system.

The shows presented by the Sierra Vista Ballet can be divided into two categories: "The Nutcracker" which is an elaborate, magnificent show of 75 dancers and actors. This dazzling show is put on every year in the first week of December.

A second series of shows are offered in the spring. In these shows, The Sierra Vista Ballet features an assortment of classical ballets. In 2004, the Ballet staged “Peter and the Wolf,” excerpts from Coppelia, and the full ballets “Paquita” and “La Bayadere.”
