SimmsIndependentSchool District accepts the responsibility for preparing our students to live and work in a nation that is undergoing dramatic changes. All our students will be expected to master the State Essential Elements as a knowledge base on which to build future learning. Our students will also be taught a core curriculum as specified by the Texas Education Agency. As part of that curriculum all students will develop an appreciation and knowledge of citizenship and their unique Texas heritage. Simms ISD will accomplish this mission by providing the highest quality of instruction, equality of educational opportunities and resources, and accountability for demonstrated results and improvements.
