A 'Great Place for Growing' is more than just a phrase for the members of the Slater Chamber of Commerce. Dedicated to promoting local businesses and working with the city and its citizens, the chamber offers a variety of programs and activities. Some of the activities include: Holiday Turkey and Ham Give-a-Way; Christmas Parade and Program; Easter Egg Hunt. It is the goal of this organization to not only promote activities for the business community. We also want to promote and support programs for the welfare for our entire community, the citizens and families that live and work in the Slater area.
