Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for individuals with special needs through the use of equine-assisted activities and therapies. Stable Hands Equine Therapy Center is a 501(c)3 tax exempt corporation.

Established in 1992, we now own at a 28 acre horse farm within a 15 minute drive from the greater Wausau area. We are a registered member of PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) International.

Equine therapy improves balance, coordination and strength using the movement of the horse. Indidviduals participating get a sense of accomplishment and self confidence. All students have a physician's approval for activities.
