To promote a greater awareness in the community of the various art forms and to foster a deeper appreciation for the arts and crafts; to encourage broader participation in activities which help promote the arts and crafts; to provide support for local artists and craftspeople and serve as an outlet for their creative energies; and to work independently and in cooperation with other entities to enrich the cultural environment of this area.  

As we continue to bring the arts to the community and beyond, we continue to look to the downtown area of Columbia to create a NEW arts center as part of the revitalization of Columbia’s historic downtown area.
