Owners Alexander Chmerkowsky and Jhanna Volynets, of "Dance With Me" studios located at 262 Glen Head Rd. Glen Head, NY, have graciously donated time and space in their studio for a new dance fitness program. A nurse/fitness instructor has developed this program with specific elements to address the specific needs of cancer survivors. This magnificent facility is home to "Dancing with the Star's"the one and only  "Maksim". This program is specifically designed to help cancer survivors have fun while safely and effectively get back into shape. Physical fitness after cancer offers overwhelming short and long-term benefits. In addition it is correlated with decreased risk of disease recurrence. An introduction party for this program will take place on November 28th at 9:30 am. It will be free for all that attend. All participants are urged to check with their doctors to make sure they are physically able to begin a moderate paced aerobic program.
