The Gandy Dancer Festival is presented as a branch of the Mazomanie Charitable Alliance. To support the non-profit Mazomanie Charitable Alliance a set of guiding goals was developed.

Gandy Dancer Festival Goals:

- To enrich the community through varied musical experiences
- To provide a venue for area families to come together and share cultural experiences
- To further utilize existing community assets such as the Railroad Corridor and Promenade
- To promote Mazomanie as a destination to enjoy an outdoor family musical experience
- To sustain and broaden the financial base of the festival through public and private donations
- To build and strengthen cooperative partnership with governmental agencies, businesses, foundations, community and cultural organizations
- To contribute financially to the continued development and improvement of the Westland Promenade and the Railroad Corridor.
