The Tewksbury Community Of Artists

Tewksbury Public Library, Trustees Room, 300 Chandler Street

About Us:

Established in 1993, the Tewksbury Community of Artists has been a group of talented members that range from young adults to seniors and practice all forms of art. They live in all parts of New England. The Tewksbury Community of Artists are funded by dues, donations and in part by the Tewksbury Local Council (Massachusetts State Cultural Council).

Our Group has had demonstrations of various art forms and also workshops which have been advertised and open to the public. Annually, the Tewksbury of Community of Artists has a Members Only Show where members can display, demonstrate and sell their art. Senior high school students can also participate for a chance to receive one of three scholarships.

Each Fall, the Group has an Annual Art Festival. Participants in this event include students from all the schools in Tewksbury, members, and non-members. Since the Annual Art Festival incorporates students and any other artist, it is one of the greatest cultural events of the Town. There is light refreshments and a chance to meet the artists.
