The mission of the Thompson Collectors Association (TCA) is to encourage legal submachine gun shooting & collecting among citizens of the United States and other countries; improving the membership's knowledge of safe handling and proper care of firearms; and improved marksmanship.

 The TCA is dedicated to the development of the characteristics of honesty, self-reliance, self-discipline, good fellowship, and team work which are the essentials of good sportsmanship and the foundation of true patriotism.
