We are an international community of women religious
in the Roman Catholic Church.
Today nearly 4,000 SSNDs minister in 35 countries
throughout the world, carrying out Christ's mission.

In the spirit of our foundress Blessed Theresa of Jesus Gerhardinger,
we respond to the needs of society in our times.
We are dedicated to serving the poor, women and youth.

Wherever the School Sisters of Notre Dame go and
to whomever we minister, we draw upon prayer as a source of strength,
focus and union with God. Through prayer, we are supported,
sustained and inspired to become one mind as a
congregation in our service to Christ.
