Manorhaven is part of the Port Washington Public School District and it offers a superior public education. The Port Washington all volunteer Fire Department is award winning. The current and future Fire Chiefs both reside in Manorhaven and their service to the community is exemplary. We have many houses of worship, three different Jewish congregations, Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, and several other religious organizations.

Manorhaven consists of more than 50% of the waterfront in Port Washington, with many public and private marinas. There are many waterfront restaurants and eateries with a large variety of food types.

The Manorhaven Public Park and Pool includes public tennis courts, volleyball, and basketball courts. There is a public boat launching facility also at the park as well as a large area for public picnics.

For those of you who have to commute to the city, Manorhaven is located very close to the Port Washington Train Station. A Public bus line runs the entire length of Manorhaven. The N-23 can be picked up in front of the L.I.R.R. station and runs through the Village to Orchard Beach Blvd. Door to Door service!!!!

Our Village Government runs many civic and cultural festivals throughout the year and have always been well attended. The Village Boards meet once a month.

Situated on the North Shore of Long Island, Manorhaven’s beautiful waterfront properties offer an ethnic and cultural mix in our population, making this Village a great place to raise a family or start up a new business. Manorhaven has many private two-family homes with rentals, condominiums, and rental complexes located near waterfront property. The Village of Manorhaven has one of the largest Marine Communities in Nassau County. These Marina’s hold some of the largest vessels along the North Shore. We have commercial and industrial areas where you can make your business opportunities turn into a dream come true. These are some of the reasons why Manorhaven is called “The Pearl of Manhasset Bay”.
