Mission Statement:
White Plains Hospital Center is a voluntary, not-for-profit health care organization with the primary mission of offering high quality, acute health care and preventive medical care in a caring and compassionate manner to all people who live in, work in, or visit Westchester County and its surrounding areas. The Hospital will provide care and services without regard to race, color, creed, national origin, age, sexual orientation or ability to pay.

White Plains Hospital Center's services extend beyond inpatient and outpatient care to include prevention and educational programs which meet the needs of the general populace, the professional community and the business sector. The Hospital will strive to enhance its capabilities and to deliver health care services, within the scope of its resources, in a cost-effective manner. White Plains Hospital Center is committed to this mission and intends to carry it out by:

- Developing and implementing new services to respond to the changing and varied health care needs of the communities we serve;
- Creating resources to maintain financial viability to fund high quality programs and services;
- Maintaining a state-of-the-art facility and equipment to support the Hospital's programs and services; and
- Providing a working environment which attracts and retains the most talented, dedicated and committed people.

White Plains Hospital Center believes success is assured by the dedication of the people who make up the supporting constituencies: employees, physicians, licensed health care professionals, volunteers, individual supporters, businesses and civic organizations.
