From the President...

Welcome to the 2008 Wilton Warriors Girls Tennis Team. It gives me great pleasure to welcome back our returning players as well as our new members. We are all looking forward to a fun and rewarding season!

In Wilton we are very fortunate to have supportive parents, educators, coaches and community members encouraging our high school athletes. Unlike our surrounding FCIAC towns, Wilton is fortunate enough to have the talent and ability to support two Junior Varsity Girls' Tennis teams as well as one varsity squad. Having three squads affords that many more girls to participate in competitive high school athletics and truly makes our tennis program unique.

This year we will have three veteran coaches: Glenn Baron, our varsity coach will be accompanied by Jane Simeone and Kathy Torg, our Junior Varsity coaches. We thank them in advance for their enthusiasm, guidance, commitment, and expertise.

The role of the Booster organization is to support our players, our coaches and our program. In order to accomplish that, we need your support. Please join the Boosters and help our teams. You can also help the Boosters by volunteering - there are still Board positions open. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you might have.
