55 Woodland St, Lincoln, RI 02865. Entering its 37th year, the Cumberland-Lincoln Community Chorus is a mixed, intergenerational, non-auditioned conglomeration of folks who love to sing! Our Music Director is the incomparable Dr. William Jones; our Accompanist is the talented Kim Kuda. Along with our big June productions at that Stadium Theatre in Woonsocket, we have a history of community outreach - providing musical entertainment at nursing homes, assisted living and public housing facilities, churches & community events. We’ve been proud to entertain and support Lifespan’s National Cancer Survivor’s Day over the past several years. Last July, CLCC was asked to perform in the Narragansett Beach Summer Concert Series and sang before the RI Philharmonic took to the stage. We are one of the founding choruses of RISings, a statewide choral event. The repertoire we perform varies from classical to contemporary – with a fun mix of everything in between! Our members come from RI and SE Massachusetts and faithfully attend rehearsals every Tuesday night, 7-9:15pm from September - June at Wesley United Methodist Church, We are always looking to add new friends and voices to our chorus. We accept new members in September and again January. If you are someone who enjoys singing and being social then we are the group for you – no auditions necessary! Need not be a resident of Cumberland or Lincoln! CLCC also sponsors a Teen Aprentice program and awards a $500 scholarship every June.
