Fort Clark Baptist Church

We believe that their is only one true God, who is an infinite and intelligent Spirit. God is the Maker and Supreme Ruler of heaven and earth and is worth of all possible honor, confidence and love. God exists in three persons: the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

We believe that the Holy Bible was written by men divinely and unerringly inspired by God and is a perfect treasure of heavenly instruction, teaching and rebuking.

We believe that mankind was created in holiness but by voluntary transgressions fell from that happy and holy state. As a result, we are void of the perfect holiness required of God. Consequently, our sins condemns us to eternal judgment in Hell by God.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died for the atonement of our sins and arose from the dead and ascended into heaven where He shall ultimately judge mankind. His sacrifice provides the bridge over which we can cross over from condemnation to salvation and restores us with God. To receive this salvation and restoration we must accept Jesus Christ, who loving and unselfishly died for us, as our Savior. We must truly repent of our sins and allow our minds and hearts to be regenerated by the power of the Holy Spirit, meditation of the Gospel and faithfully carrying out its principles.

We believe that this salvation is openly available to everyone. In fact, nothing prevents the salvation of even the greatest sinner on earth except their own voluntary rejection of the Gospel and their own depravity.

We believe that the Church is a congregation of baptized believers who are associated by faith and fellowship and observe the ordinances of Jesus Christ.

We believe that Jesus Christ will descend from heaven and return for his believers. He will raise the dead from the grave for final judgment. The wicked will receive endless punishment in Hell while the righteous will receive endless joy in Heaven.
