Our Purpose Statement:

First Baptist Church exists to glorify God by making disciples who by the most effective means available will take the good news of grace and hope through Jesus Christ to East Tennessee and beyond and, to lay the foundation for future generations to do the same.

In the authority of the Bible and its message of salvation through Christ alone.
In the centrality of prayer in the life of the church and individually.
In the priority of passionate Christ-centered worship that connects people with the “Living God.” Functional Values.

To express the love of Christ through ministries of compassionate service.
