Our Mission:

St. John Missionary Baptist Church Mission: “Changing Lives through an unchanging God.” The mission of the St. John Missionary Baptist Church is to show the power of God in the midst of any situation. We are cognizant of the fact that sometimes life places us in the midst of situations that appear impossible to escape. This unfortunate reality has caused many people to fail to reach the optimum potential that God has placed within us all. However we must understand that just because we have “failed” does not make us a “failure.”

We believe it then becomes the responsibility of those of us who have fallen, only to be raised by the Grace of God, to become a living testimony and encourage others who find themselves in vicarious predicaments.
We, at St. John, will not rest on the successes of the pass, neither will we be discourage by the frustrations of our yesterdays. We understand that in order for us to be the church that God is calling us to be we must continue to press toward the mark of Christ.

By the Grace of God, through the Divine guidance of the Holy Spirit, and by exemplifying the unconditional love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we will continue to move forward knowing that regardless of situations or circumstances that we serve a God that does not allow “things” to change Him, but in Him “things” will change. It is with this assurance and certainty that we strive to be the church that is “Changing Lives through an Unchanging God.”
