Our vision is to be the leader in nurturing healthy development of children and teens, supporting families, and strengthening our community.

We believe that, in today's society, our essential job is to provide everyone (youth through senior adults) the experiences that help them develop and maintain a set of positive values, morals, and ethics by which they will live. It is essential to a successful society that everyone live according to values necessary for achieving and maintaining healthy spirit, mind, and body.

YMCA programs will nurture the successful development of all so that everyone who comes in contact with our volunteers and staff will grow personally and in self-esteem.

The Greater Kingsport Area will be a better place to live because the YMCA involves thousands of children, families, and individuals in its unique forms of leadership development, character development, community involvement, youth development, healthy lifestyles, and family strengthening.
