ArtWalk - Art Beat - Music

ArtWalk is a free monthly celebration of the arts in downtown Abilene, involving the cultural and business community. ArtWalk for the fun of it!

Everyone enjoys free exhibits, street performances and live entertainment during ArtWalk.

Each month brings a new offering of art and entertainment that attracts a broad cross section of the community.

This monthly mini-festival has received statewide accolades and even national recognition, but it is the wide participation by the citizens of Abilene that makes this a program so extraordinary.

The Board of Trustees for the Center initiated ArtWalk in 1993. The Center coordinates and underwrites the expenses for the ArtWalk activities.

As an added bonus, ArtWalk provides performance opportunities for visual and performing artists in the area.
