Memorial Day Ceremony

The Heritage Center will host a Memorial Day Ceremony to pay tribute to those who have died in our nation's service. Former USAF fighter-pilot and local resident Rick Zehrer will be the keynote speaker at the event that is open to the public. The Lakeway PD will provide the Color Guard and the Lakeway Sing-Alongs will perform. Guests are encouraged to arrive early due to limited parking at Heritage Park. Additional parking is available across the street and in the Lakeway MUD parking lot. There will be tented seating available for approximately 200 and bottled water will be available at no charge. This event is co-sponsored by the Standing Military Committee and the Lohmann's Ford Chapter of the DAR.
