Mission:
Our mission is to encourage, support and facilitate artistic cultural opportunities within the communities of Tarrant County.
History:
Founded in 1975, as the Trinity Arts Foundation, ARTSNET evolved from the Trinity Arts Guild. ARTSNET officially received its nonprofit status in 1978. ARTSNET formerly changed its name in 1995 from Trinity Arts Foundation to Northeast Tarrant Arts Council. During that year the Board of Directors established a reorganization of staff, goals, objectives, and direction. Over the years the ARTSNET has worked to become a better partner with the cities, schools, businesses and foundations in the areas.
Located between the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, ARTSNET serves 16 cities: Bedford, Colleyville, Euless, Grapevine, Haltom City, Haslet, Hurst, Keller, North Richland Hills, Richland Hills, Roanoke, Saginaw, Southlake, Trophy Club, Watauga, and Westlake. In addition it serves the seven school districts: Birdville, Carroll, Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD, Grapevine-Colleyville, Hurst-Euless-Bedford, Keller and Northwest as well as private and home schools.
ARTSNET has a long history of collaboration with our 16 cities, state and national arts organizations to develop and implement ways to encourage the education of the residents of Tarrant County that art, culture and entertainment are vital to the economic well-being of our communities.
Over the years ARTSNET has broadened its cultural reach from initially taking the art into the communities to supporting by empowering all Northeast Tarrant County schools, groups and cities to bring the arts to all of the students, adults and seniors in the area. Each month ARTSNET distributes over 6500 calendars listing various arts events in Northeast Tarrant County.
