Goals and Objectives

The continuance of guidance to City administration to assure effectiveness of all departments and to improve overall operations.

The continuance of endeavors to utilize interlocal agreements and cooperative arrangements with public agencies and private developers in an effort to maximize use of City funds.

The expansion of efforts to further employee development

The continuance of pursuit of quality of life and special projects, including cooperative efforts with the County of Hidalgo and Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District for improvements to the downtown area.

The continuance to develop grant applications and increase the number of agencies to which they are directed in order to maximize the potential for receiving grant funding.
