The American Cancer Society Relay For Life brings people together to celebrate the live is those who beat cancer, remember those lost to this disease and offer an opportunity to fight back.

Volunteer opportunities on the Relay committee: 

Chair or co-chair - Recruit members of the community to manage aspects of event.

Team Development chair - Find teams to participate in the event

Sponsorship chair -  Secure sponsorship or underwriting from local companies for the event.

Survivorship chair -  Recruitment of cancer survivors and caregivers and host survivor celebration at the event.

Logistics chair -  Make the arrangements for the facility and make sure the materials are prvided for the event.

Luminaria chair - Sale of Luminaira bags prior to and at the event.

Activities and Entertainment chair - Secure music, adult and children activities for the event.

PR/Marketing chair -  Coordinate all media coverage.

Accounting chair  - Oversee the tabulation of donations for the event.

Data Collection/On-line chair - Collection and input of all participant information and event website maintenance.
