The November 19 lecture on Great Characters in Texas History will be presented by Judge Mark Davidson, a local jurist and history buff. From 1989 until 2008 Mark Davidson was the 26th judge of the 11th District Court, the oldest court in the state of Texas. He is currently serving as the Multidistrict Litigation Judge for all asbestos cases filed in the State Courts of Texas. Judge Davidson has been an enthusiastic supporter of the Historic Document Preservation Project of the Harris County District Clerk’s office and is well-known for his interest in local history.
