David Hearne, author of the politically controversial Novel “Hulagu’s Web – The Presidential Pursuit of Senator Katherine Laforge” will be interviewed by Natalie Swain on KMID TV’s “Good Morning West Texas” on July 9, 2009 at 5:45 am.  After the show, David Hearne will visit The Recording Library of West Texas at 2012 W Cuthbert in Midland, TX. He will be there between 10 am to 2 pm offering copies of his Novel for sale. Proceeds from the book sales will be donated to The Recording Library of West Texas. Please stop by their location at 2012 W Cuthbert, Midland, TX and meet Trish Speight, Executive Director of the organization and author David Hearne.  Learn about the wonderful work this charitable organization does to help the seven to eight thousand people in the Permian Basin who are vision impaired.

Viewers of Natalie Swain’s “Good Morning West Texas” on KMID TV will discover why Mr. Hearne wrote “Hulagu’s Web and how it is fast becoming a tool for raising public awareness… awareness of government corruption, and an awareness of the need for sustainable alternative energy.

Book reviewer, Kristine Morris of ForewordMagazine.com described David Hearne’s book “Hulagu’s Web-The Presidential Pursuit of Senator Katherine Laforge", as "a ripping good political thriller” She went on to say, “Under the guise of entertainment, Hearne investigates issues of importance, including the motivation behind Islamic terrorism, the corruption of American politics including the buying of congress by oil interests, the attitude toward women in positions of power, and the deliberate bungling of efforts to move the country to green energy.
