In September of 1994 Will Hawkins decided to start "Will" Fix It Plumbing company. Will sold his personal vehicle and made a down payment on his first truck for his new start-up plumbing company. At that time Will had 11 years experience in new construction, commercial, residential and service plumbing. Drawing on that experience, he had ideals of a plumbing company that would provide top quality service. Included in his vision was the idea that these technicians would present themselves in a professional manner, be able to speak to customers in terms they could understand, and be trained in their profession beyond what a Master Plumber's license would require.
By 1999 the company had grown to 15 trucks and Will decided it was time to add Air Conditioning & Heating Service to "Will" Fix It. The air conditioning and heating division grew rapidly and in May of 2000 Will Fix It Plumbing Heating and Cooling was named the San Antonio Chamber's small business of the year. In 2002 we added a lawn irrigation division to our list of services.
Our company is now 35 trucks strong, and able to service many areas of the city the same day a call comes in. We also have 1 hour service for customers who need really fast response! We were the first company in San Antonio to advertise service 24/7 . That's right, we run every day of the year and best of all, our phones are always answered any hour of the day by a Customer Service Representative who works for our company.
Affiliation with professional organizations has helped Will Fix It become an Industry Leader in San Antonio. Will serves on the board of the San Antonio Chapter of Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors (PHCC) and many of our managers and employees are active in the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and the San Antonio Chapter of Air Conditioning Contractors Association (ACCA) as well as PHCC.
Today Will's original standards for his company are still in place and emphasized each week in the weekly technician training and office staff meetings. They are primarily responsible for our unprecedented repeat customer sales. High standards, quality employees, and implementation of new and better ideas are the foundation for the company's strong increase in sales year after year.
