The Friends of the Family Justice Center serving San Marcos & Hays County is pleased to announce the receipt of a donation from JP’s Peace, Love & Happiness Foundation. The contribution is part of the Village Main Capital Campaign and now the Forensic Exam Room in the future Family Justice Center will be named after JP’s Peace, Love & Happiness Foundation. This project will construct the shovel-ready Village Main Building to house four major social service agencies in San Marcos.

“The PL&H foundation's support of our efforts to co-locate on the Village Campus multiple services for victims of violent crime in Hays County is much appreciated. The DeJoria Family's generosity is a great start to further our vision of opening a family justice center in Hays County a reality.",” said San Marcos Assistant Police Chief Penny Dunn. “We are deeply grateful for the donation made by JP’s Peace, Love & Happiness Foundation. Support such as this reflects the commitment that our community has in helping victims and their families recover from the trauma caused by crime and to begin the journey toward healing.” said Victim Services Coordinator, Roya Williamson. Dunn and Williamson serve on the Board of Directors for the Friends of the Family Justice Center, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
