Multi-faceted activities and performances await you at the Virginia Highlands Festival
Held in Historic Abingdon and the surrounding area, the Festival offers juried fine art and crafts, antiques, performing and literary arts, music, local history, the great outdoors, home and garden events, and fun for kids of all ages!

8:30 am - Creative Writing Day Registration ($25 for the day) MWI

10 am-12 pm - Creative Writing Day Morning Workshops presented by The Poetry
Society of Virginia: ($25 for the day) MWI
10 am-12 pm - Lecture: "Your Ecological Footprint" DEQ
11 am - Antiques Seminar: Butter Molds AM
1 pm-5 pm - Hike the Little Stony Creek Trail (meet at Park & Ride corner of
Russell Road & Route 19)
2-4 pm - Creative Writing Day Afternoon Workshops presented by Burwil
