Beth Chaverim Reform Congregation, 21740 Beaumeade Circle, Suite 100, Ashburn is sponsoring a Jewish Film Festival featuring topics related to interfaith and multi-culture relationships.  Four films made in Belgium, Germany, Israel, France and the U.S. will be shown on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 7:00pm, Thursday, May 15, 2008 at 7:30pm, Saturday May 17, 2008 at 7:30pm, and Saturday May 24, 2008 at 7:30pm for an admission fee of $8.00.  Saturday showings will be followed by a light reception.  The public is invited to attend. The award-winning Arranged is an endearing comedy about two Jewish and Muslim New York school-teachers who form an unlikely friendship.  Bad Faith is a romantic comedy about a Jewish and Muslim couple.  Knowledge is the Beginning focuses on the talented musicians of a youth orchestra from Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Tunisia who give a series of world-class international concerts, including programs in Jerusalem and Ramallah.  Making Trouble celebrates three generations of Jewish women who made the successful transition from vaudeville and the Yiddish theater to Broadway, and explores several legendary American-Jewish comics including Fanny Brice, Joan Rivers, and Gilda Radner.  The Jewish Film Festival is sponsored by the Beth Chaverim Reform Congregation Tikva Committee.
