This ground-breaking exhibit examines Virginia Indian history from the Indian perspective, revealing vibrant and thriving cultures.   Enter the homeland of Virginia Indian peoples amid the sounds of birds, rustling leaves, and Native flute.  Discover pre-colonial Native tools, a longhouse with log benches and central fireplace, a re-created one-room school, and the work of contemporary Virginia Indian artists.   The Beyond Jamestown exhibit is a unique opportunity to experience the history and cultures of Virginia Indians.
