The Live Arts Production of Disney’s High School Musical, by David
Simpatico and Bryan Louiselle, and based on a Disney Channel Original
Movie written by Peter Barsocchini. Help Live Arts usher in the season
of summer fun with music, dancing, and a whole stage full of festive,
carefree enthusiasm.
Disney’s High School Musical, directed by Jennifer
Almanza, is a unique selection for Live Arts. As a loose adaptation of
Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, Disney’s High School Musical couldn’t
be a more-popular production. There have been 10,000 amateur
productions of Disney’s High School Musical staged already, so the
production seemed like a natural choice for Live Arts. It will be a
Summer treat for all ages and the latest of over 30 youth shows Live
Arts has presented that teach positive values and real skills. Audience
members will be encouraged to leave their worries at the door.

Ryan Murphy, Rachael Nidiffer, Sydney Pugh, Dana Pye, Ray Smith,
Michael Strickland, Jordon Trader, Mark Valahovic, and Jeremy Weiss.
