Town Of Grottoes
With the Blue Ridge Mountains to our east and the Appalachian Mountains to our west, the beautiful scenery of the Shenandoah Valley is not lost on this growing community. Only 20 minutes in either direction from the expanding city of Harrisonburg and historic Staunton, we are close enough to be convenient and far enough away to be cozy.
There are more than 100 businesses registered in Grottoes, and 2,200 residents that call Grottoes home. With the Grand Caverns Regional Park less than 2 miles from the center of town, the recent addition of our beautiful park and ball fields, our local library, South River Elementary School, the annual Chief Charlie’s Kids Fish Day, summer lawn parties, and our little league teams, there are plenty of activities for all ages. This friendly community is a great place to visit, work, and live!
