About Us:
The Most Rev. John Thayer Cahoon, Jr., Archbishop of the Anglican Catholic Church, died in 2001. He frequently said, “It isn’t about you, it’s about Jesus!” Even though he said this to individuals who were in conflict, it applies to churches as well. Many "seeker friendly" churches are using rock music for praise, entertainment for worship and self-help messages for sermons. Among the mainline churches, many parishes and denominations, while retaining structured worship and conventional music, have altered their faith and practice in order to attract people whose life styles are not permitted to Chrisitans by the Scriptures. “It's not about Jesus, it's about you!”

Our parish and national church has maintained the Liturgy of the traditional Book of Common Prayer. Worship is in the stately language penned by Thomas Cranmer who was Archbishop of Canterbury in 1549 when the first Prayer Book was published. Our liturgical vestments date from the early Chrisitian centuries. Our music is from both the best of pre-reformation as well as post-reformation tradition. Our preaching and teaching use human reason to draw on the Holy Scriptures in light of the Tradition of the first one thousand years of the church’s life.

You will be welcomed when you visit our parish for worship. At 9 a.m. we celebrate a Low Mass with hymns. This Liturgy is from the Traditional Book of Common Prayer. There is no sermon, simple ceremonial and the Service lasts 45 minutes. At 10 a.m. we have Christian Faith Development groups for all ages. and Adult. At 11 a.m. we celebrate a Choral Eucharist & Sermon from the Anglican Missal based on the Traiditioanl Book of Common Prayer. The Canterbury Choir and a sermon make the 75 minute Liturgy a traditional Anglican Catholic Mass. Ceremonial is fuller and more formal. Refreshments are served in the Parish Hall after both services. We work hard to make worship accessible by thoughtful music selection, a bulletin which contains all of the text of the service and a sermon which relates the Scriptures read to the daily lives of those participating. We hope to see you soon and have the chance to meet you.
