Our moto at RBC is “An established church (168 years old) meeting relevant needs”
We have a lot of heritage and while that’s good ?
We can look back to many blessings, things God has done in the past but a better question is What is God doing today? Paul encouraged us in Philippians 3:13 “Forgetting those things in the past – press on. . .”

In April of 2006 RBC called it’s first full time Pastor Grant Harbridge. This was a real step of faith seeing that there were only 12 to 20 regular attendees at that time. On the 3rd Sunday in March 2006, Friend Sunday, we set a goal to have 80 in our worship service. We had 81. This year our goal was 100 and we had 101 with 60+ visitors.

Pastor Grant is a graduate of Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. His philosophy of ministry is a simple one, “Reach the reachable and teach the teachable”. With weekly study sheets in all services the goal is to keep things exciting and help individuals take something with them that they can apply to their lives. We have a strong emphasis on the family believing as we have stronger families we will have stronger church and nation.

In a rural setting we are thankful for both the spiritual and numerical growth God has given us. This year’s emphasis is “Focusing on Jesus, which changes us”, more of Him and less of us. With growth comes change. Everything Changes! Seasons, weather, stock market, families, and even we are changing – constantly. We are thankful for the changes, though hard for some at times, because as a result of these changes growth is accruing.

We invite you to come, grow with us. There is a place for everyone at RBC. And you’ll never be fulfilled until you are doing your part. (Acts 20:24) Living Bible “Life is worth nothing unless I use it to do the work the Lord has given me to do – The work of telling others the good news oh His great love and mercy.” We have some time left to reach our world, just not a lot of time. We encourage you to start today. Remember you get out of the Christian life proportionately what you put in it.
