York River Baptist Church

To accomplish the Great Commission of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We will take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the entire world, beginning with our community and expanding to the international community.

We believe that the first thing that God has asked us to do is to worship Him. To that end we will gather regularly to pray, to praise, to study His Word, to respond to God, and to cultivate personal worship outside of the Church.

We also believe that the main thing God intends for us to do is to reach the lost for Jesus Christ. To this end we will;

Educate our Membership to the Word of God and train them in Evangelism;

Become a Family of Ministers to attempt to meet the needs of our community and membership;

Encourage our Membership to have a loving fellowship with each other and allow the Holy Spirit of God to give direction to our Church and our personal lives.
