River Arts Center
Mission
To enrich the community through the arts.
River Arts is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is supported by donations from the community.
The History of River Arts
River Arts serves Morristown and Lamoille County and emerged from the "Morristown Our Town" community forum held in 1999. The mandate of the community at the forum was to create a multi-generational arts and cultural center that would present visual & performing arts programs for the community. On the Rise, a youth arts organization formed in 2000, merged with River Arts in 2003 to create a single organization serving all ages. Now, in 2007, we’re finally renovating the Lamoille Grange to create an arts center for everyone.
