The Benton City Community Market will open our 2009 season on June 7. Our first two seasons were a success with strong support from the community, and we are expecting an even better third season with a great new location, right downtown on the main street. The old feed store building offers lots of convenient parking and a nice porch to sit and visit in the shade. Also new this year, vendors at our Market can now accept WIC and Senior Nutrition vouchers. We have a good mix of farm products and handcrafts, with an emphasis on our plentiful and varied local fruit production. Market products include a nice variety of vegetables, berries, tree fruits, landscaping plants, and organic eggs.
June-September, We're open every Sunday, rain or shine, from 9 am to 1 pm.
The Market is located at the Red Mountain Building (former feed store), 613 9th St.
