Plaited Paper Boxes - Danielle Bodine

Create unique boxes with woven, printed papers. Using basketry plaiting techniques, participants will weave two or more small boxes constructed out of paper strips they have stamped designs on. We will play with combinations of color and design. Once woven, the boxes will be personalized with embellishments of the artist's choosing such as photos, beads, feathers, shells, found objects, etc. Let your imagination soar. Instructor will bring samples and books for inspiration. This fun workshop is perfect for the approaching holiday season come make your gift boxes!
