(Olympia, WA - Sept. 1, 2009) - The Olympia-based organization Koinonia Business Women is hosting its inaugural business conference for Christian women, called “Strength 2 Strength – A Conference for Christian Women in Business” this October.  Hundreds of professional Christian women will gather at Champions Centre Bellevue, Washington, on Friday, October 9th, 2009, for a day of networking, business skill building, renewal, and faith-strengthening. For ticket information and registration, visit www.KBWomen.com/conference.htm.

The Strength 2 Strength conference will feature several knowledgeable speakers on business and faith topics, including author and international speaker Dondi Scumaci from San Antonio, Texas, author Jill Hart from Nebraska, owner of CWAHM.com (Christian Work-At-Home Moms), CPA Audrey Godwin, CEO of The Godwin Group, PLLC in Renton, Washington, and the Koinonia Business Women’s co-founders, Krista Dunk and Tammy Redmon, will also be speaking and hosting the event.

As a Christian woman, you don’t want to miss the Strength 2 Strength Business Conference on October 9, 2009. This event is for professional Christian women in business who desire to step more boldly into their career, business and life while strengthening their faith in God”, says co-founder Tammy Redmon. “Come to be refreshed by the Spirit of God.”

Co-founders Tammy Redmon and Krista Dunk are both Christian women and small business owners who noticed that the community of Christian women in business has traditionally been an under-served population. “We became aware and concerned that there were no opportunities for Christian women in business to come together, learn, share, and strategize”, says Krista. “Yes, general business networking and trainings are available. Faith-focused fellowship is also readily available. We needed a place where faith and business comes together, and we believe thousands of other business women of faith desire that also.”

Beyond the informative and inspiring speakers, the half-day conference will also include fabulous networking opportunities, exhibitor booths, live praise and worship, catered snacks and hors d’oeuvres, SWAG bags for pre-registrants, dazzling shopping at the *BLING* shop, and door prizes.
