Online Prayer Community Offers Hope

from:The Wall of Prayer category:Religion and Spirituality posted:April 13th, 2009

For Immediate Release:

April 13, 2009 - Olympia, WA. The Koinonia Business Women's organization announces the launch of a new, online prayer resource called "The Wall of Prayer" today at www.thewallofprayer.com. This free community of hope and encouragement is a place where Christians of all denominations can come together for the purpose of:

  • Sharing prayer requests
  • Celebrating praise reports
  • Praying for the needs of others
  • Strengthening prayer life
  • Glorifying God

The mission of The Wall of Prayer is to unite followers of Christ to bear one another’s burdens, to rejoice with those who rejoice, and to weep with those who weep. It will offer hope and encouragement to Christians all over the world. "We specifically chose April 13th to launch the wall because it is the day after Easter, the most significant holiday for all Christians" says Koinonia Business Women co-founder Krista Dunk. "Our friend and Christian author, Noreen Jacks from Woodland, California, has been a great inspirational help in getting the community started."

Joining The Wall of Prayer community and creating a member profile is free and open to anyone who believes in the power of prayer. "In our first 40 days, we are believing and praying for 1000 community members to join The Wall. We know by connecting with just a few ministries and other passionate individuals who catch our vision, our goal will be reached and The Wall of Prayer will reach far and deep," says co-founder Tammy Redmon. The wall's coordinators hope that the lives of thousands of people will be positively impacted by this powerful, online resource for many years to come.
