Second Story Repertory's mission is to provide its patrons with high quality performing arts and theater education. It is dedicated to an eclectic season of professional theater for adults and children. This season is made accessible to all; no one is turned away for lack of means.

Second Story Repertory believes that the creation of art is one of humankind's highest forms of achievement, and that a civilization can be judged by the way it treats artists. Therefore, we highly value supporting the life and the work of the artist.

Since its opening in October 1999, the Eastside's first full-time theater ensemble has offered a year-round season of musicals, comedies, revues, and dramas, along with its popular SPROUTS Children's Theatre series of original musicals for ages 4 and up. Second Story Repertory also offers performing arts education, primarily for children.
