The City of Ritzville is located adjacent to Interstate 90 between Spokane and Moses Lake, Washington. It appears as an oasis in the midst of wheat fields for miles in every direction and is the county seat for Adams County. The City of Ritzville was incorporated for the first time in the last few months of 1888 under the laws of Washington Territory. The City of Ritzville was incorporated in July of 1890 and operates under the laws of the State of Washington applicable to a second class city with a mayor-council form of government.
