Stay true to your nature and the world can be replete with joy, excitement, and adventure.
In Native American lore, Coyote, the trickster, is a character full of fun and rich with meaning. He plays tricks on the rocks, dances with the stars, and creates the tribes. Whether it’s learning how we came to possess fire or how we came to be, Coyote is at the heart of the story.
In the tradition of great legends that have been passed from people to people and generation to generation, we bring you the tales that helped shape the world around us.
Artistic Director Linda Hartzell: This is some of the most eloquent and elegant storytelling you will ever experience. It is haunting, funny, spellbinding theatre, full of beauty and play. And it is an honor to bring you a glimpse of Native American lore on our stage.
Location: Eve Alvord Theatre
