The Oral History Live! series at EMP|SFM features intimate interviews before
a live audience.
Enjoy a live interview with Fred and Dinah Gretsch as they celebrate The Gretsch
Company’s 125th anniversary. Founded in 1883 as a small musical instrument shop
in Brooklyn, NY, The Gretsch Company, now based in Savannah, GA, has produced
some of the world's greatest drums and guitars over the span of four
generations.
Fred and Dinah Gretsch will be joined by Gretsch artists Steve Ferrone, drummer
from Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and TV Jones, a leader in the development
and manufacture of innovative, high-quality guitar pickups.
An EMP|SFM curator will interview Fred and Dinah about this incredible milestone
in their family business.
Oral History Live! is sponsored by Wells Fargo and The Boeing Company.
