Author Christopher Kimball Will Discuss Two New Cookbooks

Christopher Kimball will discuss his cookbooks, “America’s Test Kitchen
Baking Book” and “Cook’s Country Cookbook” at The Seattle Public
Library, Central Library, Microsoft Auditorium, Level 1.
The program is free and open to the public. No
registration is required. Parking will be available in the Central
Library garage for a $5 special event rate.
“America’s Test Kitchen Baking Book” is a companion to
the TV show, “America’s Test Kitchen.” It explains how or why a recipe
works, provides cooking tutorials with photos and has illustrated
troubleshooting guides that highlight common baking problems and
solutions. “Cook’s Country Cookbook” is a companion to the magazine,
Cook’s Illustrated.
Kimball is the host of the TV show, “America’s Test
Kitchen” and the founder, editor and publisher of the magazines, Cook’s
Illustrated and Cook’s Country Magazine. His previous books include,
“The Cook’s Bible,” “The Yellow Farmhouse Cookbook,” “Dear Charlie,”
“The Dessert Bible” and “The Kitchen Detective.”
The program is presented in partnership with the Elliott Bay Book Co. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
