10:30am, 12:00 noon, 1:30pm, 3:00pm - Fresh Mozzarella Making Demo

Text for “Fresh Mozzarella Making Demonstration” DeLaurenti Specialty Food & Wine is famous for its fresh mozzarella and now you can see how it all comes together at this year’s Festival! We’ll be making fresh mozzarella at the Mozzarella Tent throughout the Festival. As an added bonus, we’ll also make buratta once on Saturday and once on Sunday. What’s buratta? Buratta is fresh mozzarella with cream added to it. Buratta is very difficult to make but it is sooo worth it – rich and silky, it’s the non plus ultra of fresh mozzarella.

Joins us Saturday and Sunday as DeLaurenti staff show you how to make Fresh Mozzarella!

12:00 pm - 5:00pm - Wine Tasting - DeLaurenti Specialty Food & Wine

12:00 pm - 5:00 pm - Wine Garden - Pike Place, main thoroughfare

After perusing and sampling the cheesemakers' offerings, what better repast than a glass of wine? Join us in the Wine Garden! Select from a range of wines specifically selected to pair well with the artisanal cheeses offered at the festival.

Winemakers and representatives from Adelsheim Winery, Tamarack Cellars, Bergenvin Lane, Mercer Estate, Barnard Griffin, Cooper Mountain Dalla Terra, Dreyfus- Ashbey, Winebow, Winebow International, Hedges Family Estates, Classical Wines, Goose Ridge Winery, Vineyard Brands, Badger Mountain, Powers Winery, Reininger Winery, Maison Marques and Domaines, and Zerba Winery will be in the wine garden to answer your questions about their wines.

This year DeLaurenti Specialty Food & Wine will be offering a cheese tray for sale near the entrance to the wine garden. Pick up a tray to bring with you as you sample wines and find your own favorite matches.

5 generous tastes for $10.
