Author David A. Carter Will Present His Books and Teach Kids to Make Pop-Ups

Author David A. Carter will read from his books and teach kids to make their own pop-up books

The program is free and open to the public. No registration is required. Free parking is available in the branch garage. All materials will be provided.

Carter’s most recent books are “Yellow Square” and “The Big Bug Book: A Pop-Up Celebration.” He has written many pop-up books for children, including “One Red Dot,” “Blue 2,” “600 Black Spots” and “How Many Bugs in a Box?” He lives in Auburn, Calif.
The program is sponsored in partnership with the Secret Garden Bookshop. Books will be available for purchase and signing. For more information, call the branch at 206-684-4089.
