Deadliest Catch Experience Auction of a Lifetime

On September 21, 2008, the Nordic Heritage Museum will be holding their annual fundraiser, the Northern Lights Auktion, taking place at the Grand Hyatt Ballroom in downtown Seattle. A very exciting auction lot item has been donated by Captain Hansen to help support operations at the Museum.
One lucky bidder and one guest will have a chance to visit Dutch Harbor, Alaska, and spend some time with Sig and his crew! This once in a lifetime experience will include a short sightseeing trip around Dutch Harbor and the Island aboard the Northwestern. Later that evening, enjoy dinner with the crew at the Grand Aleutian Hotel’s
Chart Room restaurant. In addition, here’s your chance to join the guys for drinks, meet the locals and perhaps some of the other fishermen from the show! This auction item also includes round-trip airfare for two from Seattle and two nights hotel at the Grand Aleutian in Dutch Harbor.
Please Keep in Mind that the highest bidder will need to be Flexible with his/her schedule! This trip will take place sometime between the end of January 2009 and March 2009 with only 5 to 7 days advance notice. The bidder must understand that timing is tight between fishing trips and must be flexible with their dates as the offloading schedule for crab cannot be predicted in advance.

Visit www.nordicmuseum.org and click on Deadliest Catch, fill out the form with your HIGHEST BID and secure bidder information, and either fax or mail back to the Nordic Heritage Museum No Latter Then 5pm September 19, 2008.
The Nordic Heritage Museum was founded nearly thirty years ago and is located at 3014 NW 67th St, Seattle, WA 98117. The Museum features a core exhibit entitled The Dream of America that tells the story of the Nordic immigrant experience, a contemporary art gallery featuring the work of Scandinavian and Scandinavian-American artists, and exhibits featuring history of the five Nordic countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden.
The mission of the Nordic Heritage Museum is to share Nordic culture with people of all ages and backgrounds by exhibiting art and objects, preserving collections, providing educational and cultural experiences, and serving as a community gathering place.
The Nordic fishing and maritime community has been important to the history and continued growth of the Pacific Northwest, Museum exhibits celebrating this industry and its’ history are well represented at the Museum.
